‪ People s Climate Movement National Day of Action in DeKalb.

Our #‎peoplesclimate‬ Movement Teach-In included fracking facts by NIU students Breanna Cooper and Johna Pishko, poetry by Ricardo Amesquita, music by “DK” Kolars, comments by Representative Bob Pritchard, ‪#‎climatecrisis‬ and ‪#‎renewableenergy‬ facts by the350Kishwaukee team, and featured Josef Appell presenting his ‪#‎DIY‬electric powered bicycle. The sound and light system for the event was sunlight powered thanks to Josef’s genius. Photographer Bill Klein documented the activities and NIU’s student group Green Paws Environmental Alliance co-sponsored the event.
